Sulphur Mobilising Bacteria (SULPHOBAC)

Introduction :

SULPHOBAC is a liquid form of bio-fertilizer based on selective strain of sulphur solubilizing bacteria, Thiobacillus thiooxidans. This beneficial bacteria are suspended liquid carrier @1x109 bacterial cells/ml of the product.

Mode of Action :

The bacteria used for the production of this prosduct, namely Thiobacillus thiooxidans strain are known for its sulphur solubilizing characters. This bacterial cell converts the non available sulphur and sulphur related compounds to easily assimilable form of sulphur salts through a process of oxidation. During this process, it brings down the high PH of the soil. Hence, SULPHOBAC can be utilized in reclaiming the alkaline and saline soil for normal cultivation.

Method of application :

SULPHOBAC is recommended for all crops.
For soil reclaimation : Aplication of SULPHOBAC (Thiobacillus thiooxidans) at the recommended rate (3 ltr/ha) will facilitate availability of sulphur related compound salts to the plants as nutrients. Also in the process of oxidation it produces acid which bring down the PH to the optimal level.

Shelf Life :

SULPHOBAC is stable for a period of 12 months from the date of manufacturing.
