Agro Fumo is a WP formulation containing conidia of the entomopathogenic fungus Paecilomyces fumosoroseus. It is pathogenic to Diamond Back Moth (DBM) infesting cabbage and cauliflower, aphids, whiteflies and mites on vegetables, cotton, etc.
When Paecilomyces fumosoroseus comes in contact with the larvae the fungus secretes chitin dedrading enzymes like chitinase and proteinase which help to dissolve the outer cuticle and penetrate into the haemocoel wherein, mycelium develops further and colonize the whole visceral mass. The infected larvae ultimately die.
Recommendation: It can be applied in crops like cabbage and cauliflower vegetables, cotton etc. @ 1 kg/ha in 200 litres of water.
Foliar application:Dissolve 1 kg of Sun Agro Fumo in 200 litres of water, mix thoroughly and allow to settle for 30 minutes. Filter the supernatant through muslin cloth and fill the spray tank. Spraying should be done preferably during evening hours.
Compatibility: The product should not be mixed with chemical fungicides.
The product should be stored in cool, dry place. Avoid direct sunlight or heat and can be stored for six months from the date of manufacturing.
Antidotes (on over exposure): Treat symptomically
Symptoms of poisoning ( on over exposure): Treat symptomically. Skin and eye irritation may cause nausea.
First Aid Measure: In case of control flush with plenty of water. If the symptom persists, contact physician and get medical attention immediately.
Sun agro Fumo-L shall be stored in a separate room or premises away from rooms or premises used for storing other articles particularly articles of food, or shall be kept in a separate almirah under lock and key depending upon the quantity and nature of the product.
